Print Friendly Page
The Knabenchor Karlsruhe was founded in 2005 by the former director and founder of the Aurelius Sängerknaben Calw who worked also with the Tölzer Knabenchor. The Knabenchor of Cantus Juvenum is made up of boys from 6 to 15 years of age. The choir currently consists of three choirs, choir 1 (boys from pre-prep up to grade 2), choir 2 (boys in grade 2 or 3) and the boys ensemble (from grade 4 onwards). Members of the choir have successfully performed in the roles of the three boys in Mozart's magic flute at the Badisches Staatstheater in Karlsruhe and at the Theater Heidelberg.
