Alex Eager was a head chorister at Llandaff Cathedral, Cardiff. He went on three tours with the choir which included Singapore. He has worked with BBC Wales many times, and he also sang in the Wales Remembrance Service three years in a row. He and his two elder brothers, Nathan and James, are Music Scholars at Eton. All three sang together as Treble, Alto, and Tenor on the CD Hear My Words.

This disc features some of the best-loved anthems in the church repertoire, and notably that with an Etonian connection. Thus it begins and ends with the music of Parry, Eton's favourite musical son, whose success with Blest Pair of Sirens in 1887, saw him regarded as the leading choral composer in England.
