Christian Jenkins has a been a Treble chorister at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle and then moved to the Abbey School, Tewkesbury and gained Grade 8 Singing at the age of 13 with distinction. He toured to Venice with the choir and sang the Allegri Miserere at the Redentore Church and performed other solos at Nerenheim Abbey in Germany and sang the solos in major choral works at Tewkesbury Abbey (Rejoice in the Lamb) and also on tour in the US where he sang the solos in Mass in G and many other works at St Thomas's in New York. In this year he achieved his Dip ABRSM examination and carried on to King's School Gloucester, which has an excellent music department. He joined King's Harmonists and also achieved Grade 8 in Violin and Piano . He trained a childrens' choir which he trained and took to Graz in Austria for the International Choir Games and they won a Silver Diploma. He also, whilst studying for A levels is teaching Grade V theory to students of the choir and applying to Music Conservatoires as a bass baritone.He has also travelled to Venice for other concerts as a violinist and boy treble, and next year will acompany his choir to Vienna for another competition and some concerts.
