Les Petits Chanteurs de Lyon Originally named Les Petits Chanteurs de Saint-Bernard in 1974, the choir took its current name in 1978. The boys choir is also known as La Maîtrise de la Primatiale. The director is Mr. Jean-François Duchamp, who was president of the French Union of Pueri Cantores. There are currently a boys choir, girls choir... and sometimes a mixed choir.
The choir for girls (Schola Cantorum) was created in 1990 by Mr. Emmanuel Magat, music teacher of Les Petits Chanteurs à la Croix de Bois (boys choir). In 2000, the second director was Mr. Robert Hillebrand, then music teacher of the Tölzer Knabenchor and now Maître de Chapelle de la Cathédrale de Rennes. The third director is Mr. Thibaut Louppe.
