Founded in London in 1996, Boys Air Choir is comprised of seven members, aged eight to sixteen years old. Each vocalist is carefully chosen from the choirs of such Cathedrals as St. Paul's, Salisbury and Westminster. Each boy attends school full-time, so all recordings and promotional activities take place during summer and Easter vacations. In the summer of 1999, they performed to a sold out crowd at the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall.
