Cantemus Boys' Choir    (est. 1983) Classical Choir of Boys
Print Friendly Page
Cantemus Gyermekkórus (Cantemus Children Choir) was founded in 1974 as a mixed primary school choir in Nyíregyháza, Hungary. From their success came the creation of other mixed and girls choirs, leading to the creation of the Cantemus Choral Institute.

The Cantemus Boys' Choir was created in 1983, but does not appear to be a continuous choir. Between 1991 and 1994 László Durányik was the conductor. The boys choir has sung in several European countries including Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Poland, and Scotland. They were also one of the choirs featured at the International Boys Voice Conference and Concert in Glasgow in May 2003.
