Print Friendly Page
Adelaide Boys Choir Formed in 1988 by John Lange the Adelaide Boys Choir is the only choir in Adelaide specifically for boys whose voices are unchanged or are changing, and specialises in developing an interest and love of vocal music, particularly choral work, in boys from the age of five and up.

The choir is divided into three smaller groups:

The John Lange Training Choir is for boys with little or no choral experience. It allows the boys to develop musical skills, while at the same time learning how to sing as part of a group.

The Second Concert Choir. This group includes boys who have graduated from the Training Choir, and those who have sound musical knowledge and good choral skills.

The First Concert Choir. These are boys who have spent some time with the choir and have developed advanced musical knowledge and choral skills. This choir performs a range of more complex and challenging choral works.
