Lyric Dubee is an outstanding guitarist / vocalist from Barrie, Ontario, Canada with his own unique sound and blend of genres. He has been performing all around Canada and is growing an ever larger fan base. At age 9 Lyric began taking guitar lessons using his fathers guitar. For Lyric's 10th birthday he received his first guitar and he hasn't looked back since! Within the first year Lyric had played in his school talent show and had landed a spot in the Barrie New Music Festival. After playing for only 4 1/2 years Lyric has played in a variety of venues. He also performed at festivals, charities, weddings, open-mics, gigs etc. At age 12 Lyric wrote and recorded the music and lyrics for all the songs on his debut album BROKEN DREAMS. His CD release party was held at the MacLaren Arts Centre in Barrie on May 28, 2011. Lyric's video "You Instead" was picked up by the OPP and featured on their Facebook page and Twitter. The song was also played on the New Music Hour on Rock 95. In May 2011, Rogers TV invited Lyric to play part of his album live on their morning show. Lyric won the BEST YOUNG SONGWRITERS award at the Barrie New Music Festival 2011 and was approached by Rogers TV to use his album as the soundtrack to a new show "New Slang" which aired Sept 18, 2011 at 8pm. His first professional video was shot Feb 25, 2012 and is now ready to view. You won't want to miss what's coming next from him very soon!Until then read about him and check out his music videos.
