William W Spearman, IV William W Spearman IV was born in Yokosuka in October of 1987. He began his career as a member of the Yokosuka Little Theater Group on the US Navy Base in Yokosuka appearing in several stage shows. His largest roles were as the character "Winthrop" in "The Music Man" and one of the lead character's children in "South Pacific."

In 1998, he successfully auditioned for a place in the Yokosuka Art Theater Boys and Girls Choir led by Mr. Takeda Masahiro and Mr. Fuchigami Senri. As a member of the Boys and Girls Choir, he has had the opportunity to perform with a variety of professional groups and choirs from overseas and locally. Most notable are his solo performance in "Yuuzuru," composed and conducted by Ikuma Dan, as a guest vocalist with the Tokyo Vivaldi Ensemble, and his ensemble performance in "Carmen" by the Romanian National Opera. His forte is classical music and among his favorites are Ave Maria and Pie Jesu.
