Luke Benward Luke Benward is an American actor and singer. He is best known for his starring role as Billy in How to Eat Fried Worms and as Charlie Tuttle in the 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie, Minutemen. At the age 7, he appeared in Martina McBride's music video Concrete Angel. Luke Benward was born to Aaron Benward and Kenda Benward in Franklin, Tennessee. His father is in the country duo Blue County, his mother is a part-time actress, model, and acting coach, and his grandfather is Contemporary Christian artist Jeoffrey Benward. He has two younger sisters as well, Gracie and Ella. He is a fourth generation singer. He sings, his dad sings, his grandpa sings and his great-grandpa used to sing. He is a fan of Paramore, Chris Brown, The Beatles, and Switchfoot. Also, he is a fan of football. He spends his free time playing football, video games, break dancing and practicing on his electric guitar. Benward currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
