Stuart Neal was a pupil at King Edward VI Grammar School in Guildford where he sang in the school choral society. He was also a chorister at his parish church and has been a soloist for both choirs. Around the time of this recording, he won the school prize for solo singing and has been studying singing with Charles Thompson, who was the accompanist on this recording.
