Robert Fowkes was born in York in 1973. He started singing at an early age, and joined the choir of St. Andrew's Church, Backwell when he was six. He later became a choriser at Bristol Cathedral, and has sung many important solos in the choir during daily services, as well as on record, radio and television. Robert enjoys a variety of sports including cricket and squash. He also like twentieth century composers Howells and Leighton, but also finds time to listen to his favourite pop groups 'Queen' and 'A-Ha'.
