Jack Soars lives in the village of Countesthorpe, near Leicester. He joined the choir at St. James the Greater, Leicester, progresing to head chorister in 2000 and remaining in that position until he left to attend Oundle School in Autumn of 2001 where he sings for the choir there.
During this period, Jack won many competitions and festivals around the East Midlands and was the East Midlands Chorister of the Year in 1999. He was twice a finalist in the BBC Chorister of the Year competition, in 1999 and 2001.
Jack is a keen clarinettist and as a couterpart to his choral music is now a keen jazz player. In what little spare time he has available, his hobbies inlclude fishing and computing. When on holiday he enjoys scuba diving.
I sent off a cheque to the address given. The current residents kindly returned my cheque with a note to say that Jack no longer lives there.
