Sam Adams-Nye tried out for a music scholarship at Bristol Cathedral School because of his drumming skills, and it was here that he was advised to join the choir. At the age of 13, he entered and won the BBC Chorister of the Year competition in 2005. Sam sang I Would Be True and Benedictus (Hadyn).
Sam was a soloist in the 2006 Royal Albert Hall Proms alongside the Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and was described by The Observer as "a true highlight," and appeared on the London Philharmonic's Christmas album. A choral scholar at Bristol's Cathedral school, this gifted vocalist has performed in Australia, the USA and across England.
Sam is currently in the group, Angelis, a choral group made up of three boys and three girls ages 11 to 14.
