Daichi Miura USでは、ポップ・スターになるのに必要不可欠な三大要素は、抜群の歌唱力、ナイスなヴィジュアル、そして卓越したダンスの才なんだそうだ。つまり、USのミュージック・エンターテインメント業界は、マイケル・ジャクソンの系譜にいてなんぼの世界、ということである。 現在、USのポップ・スターと呼ばれる地位にいるのは、アッシャーであり、ジャスティン・ティンバーレイクであり、その類のアーティストたちである。確かにこれらのアーティストは、前述の3つの要素をすべて兼ね備えていると（一般的には）言えるタレントたちだろう。だが、日本はどうか？　元Folderのリード・ヴォーカリストとして、小学生とは思えないほどのノドの強さを見せつけた三浦大地が、三浦大知という本名に改名して再デビューを果たした。05年現在、17歳。かつても大人顔負けの歌唱力を我がものにしていた大知だが（なにせ当時からフェイヴァリット・アーティストにキース・スウェットを挙げたくらいだ）、その彼がさらなる歌唱力と豊かな表現力を身につけてシングル「Keep It Goin' On」をリリースしたのである。 高い歌唱力、たぶん充分なヴィジュアル（男の筆者ではなんともコメントしづらいが）、それらに加えて、そのシングルのPVでも観ることができるダイナミックかつキレのあるダンス・パフォーマンスを持つ大知が、今まで日本に不在だった"真のエンターテインメント・スター"になる日も近いのかもしれない。
